Since the very beginning of time, people have been telling stories. In virtually every culture, there have been people designated to remember the stories and pass them on.

Stories have been, and continue to be, important to the human tribe for many reasons. They keep the history intact, giving young people a sense of who they are as they grow up. They gently teach right from wrong and instill cultural values.

Stories help us to understand how things came to be the way that they are, and why. They often inspire and challenge us to move outside of our small realms, and into the larger parabolas of life.
